How Auto Shelby keeps every listing and description consistent

A used vehicle shows up in many places at once. Here is how DriveGood AI keeps each of Auto Shelby's listings saying the same thing, from the same details, until the vehicle is sold.

The dealership

Auto Shelby sells inspected used vehicles from Boulevard Saint-Martin Ouest in Laval. Its website lists the vehicles it has for sale, each with its own page. Auto Shelby has been a Drive Good client from Drive Good's first days.

The challenge

A used vehicle at a dealership like Auto Shelby doesn't live in one place. The same SUV can be on the dealership's website, on Facebook Marketplace, in Facebook groups, on the Facebook page, on Instagram, on TikTok and on Google, all at once. Every one of those copies has to say the same thing: the same year and trim, the same kilometres, the same price, the same equipment.

When listings are typed by hand, they drift. The price is changed on the website but not on Marketplace. A trim level is shortened in one place and spelled out in another. The vehicle sells on Saturday and is still showing on Instagram on Tuesday. Buyers notice, and a mismatch is enough to make a careful buyer wonder what else is wrong.

Descriptions drift too. Each platform needs a different length, and the version written in a hurry for one channel is the one that gets copied everywhere.

How DriveGood AI handles it

Everything starts from one set of details per vehicle, in the dealer's DMS: year, make, model, trim, kilometres, price, equipment, condition and photos. DriveGood AI builds every listing from those details and only those details.

From them, it posts the vehicle on each channel the dealership uses and manages each listing every day: it renews listings so they keep showing up for buyers, updates them when a price or a detail changes, and takes them down when the vehicle is sold.

It also writes the descriptions. Each one opens with what buyers compare first, year, make, model, trim and kilometres, then the equipment buyers search for, the condition, and what's included. The Marketplace version puts the key facts in the first lines; the website has room for the full feature list; a post in a group or on Instagram gets a line or two. All of them come from the same details, in French or English, and none of them adds a feature the vehicle doesn't have. If the details don't say "one owner", no description says it.

The same photos also become a short video of each vehicle for Marketplace, Instagram and TikTok, so the vehicle looks the same wherever a buyer finds it.

What buyers experience

A buyer who sees the vehicle on Instagram, clicks through to the website and then writes on Marketplace reads the same information three times. The price matches. The kilometres match. The equipment listed is equipment the vehicle has. When a vehicle is sold, it stops appearing, so nobody drives to Laval for a vehicle that's gone.
